I could be wrong, but perhaps this was such a direct and thorough attack on the reputation and integrity of the Secretary of Defense, by a "credible media source", that it might not be able to be ignored as completely, as say, the Colbert incident was.
We shall see.

...of the dike (levees) breaking. MSNBC is showing some b---s with this piece and also Joe Scarborough's piece titled, "Is Bush an Idiot?"
From time to time the NYT gets some and Seymour Hersch has always kept his. Let's see who else will join the manly man ranks of the MSM.
