FBI to Join Probe Into Colorado Attack Ad
In the Colorado gubernatorial race, Republican Bob Beauprez ran a TV ad against opponent Democrat Bill Ritter which uses information apparently obtained illegally.
Excerpt from the news story follows:
Use of the federal criminal database for any purpose other than law enforcement is a crime punishable by fines and up to a year in prison.
