Breaking News

Submitted by paradox on Tue, 10/10/2006 - 2:11am. site newsAs you can see the front page looks kind of funny. All of the "teasers" from the posts are gone, except for this one.
...and that is because I have switched us to the new "break command-less" diaries, which have separate teaser and body input sections. The only side effect is that either all previous content has to have their teasers bombed or else have double teaser (blech!).
Fret not though - if you click the title link - all of the post is there, and in fact you can get your teaser back by editing the post and pasting in whatever you want inside the new teaser input box.
A little step sideways to make a big step in usability. :)

New Feature "Breaking News"
Submitted by paradox on Sun, 10/08/2006 - 12:03pm. breaking news | site newsOne more nice thing. No more worrying about entering the "break command" to split what will appear on the front page and what will remain in the body of the page. (*if you have a lot of text for your news item, please do use the new "teaser" and "body" entry areas so that if your news item gets front paged it will not be overly long)
