Bush seems to have a Plan B
Bush prepares a Plan B for his personal preservation.
The Grand Despot Bush seems to have a plan B on his mind. No, not an alternative plan to deal with the Iraq fiasco, and no, not a plan to deal with a Democratic win in '06 (well maybe).
Georgie Porgie tortured the people, made them cry, and now he seems to want to run away to Paraguay. He has acquired a 100,000 acres farm in Paraguay near the Bolivian and Brazilian borders. Last year in 2005, Paraguay has granted the US military immunity from prosecution in war crimes trials. Does Bush think that he will then gain immunity from prosecution and/or extradition for war crimes if he retires to Paraguay?
Sort of interesting that in the same time frame, the Paraguay has allowed the US to build up a military base with a large radar system, field strength capacity of 16,000 troops, and an airstrip capable of handling B-52s, C-130 Cargo ships.
I guess George is prepared for his exile. We can only hope that he truly will need it -- that we get a real American government back.
This is one weird story.
I heard it a couple days ago and couldn't believe it or understand it. I still can't. Reality stranger than fiction...
So many bizarre happenings
that you just can't rule them out by thinking that they don't pass the reasonability test.
More on the Paraguay Deal
Wonkette says:
"We Hate To Bring Up the Nazis, But They Fled To South America, Too"
Gets a little convoluted for me, especially when it seems that the Moonies bought 1.5 million acres in the same location.

Hope springs eternal...
or so Shakespeare says.
Though I feel for the Paraguayans, they are welcome to Bush and his minions. Hopefully, Cheney will take him duck hunting...
Flying by the seat of my rants...
