Post election 2006 predictions - What's next

| |

A wild and intractable president mixed with a bag of flakes and nuts...

America screws itself again. Saddam Hussein sentence to death.

| |

Well, well, well. Proving that bigger really is always better, America has become part of yet another travesty, and is in fact celebrating it's own moral spiraling.

...I am ashamed to be an American today.

May what our country reaps from our actions and/or thoughtlessness not be unsurvivable. (or in more contemporary American terms: at least dear gawd - if I can just do good while the other's suffer, I guess that can work, too!)

NBC censors commerical about Dixie Chicks

|
Unless just holding a differing opinion than a sitting administration makes you a traitor now, this commercial looks pretty tame. With 3 out of the 4 major networks openly stating their allegiances to the despotic regime now in power it looks like they've finally finished running the table. The revolution won't be televised, indeed!

Political predictions for the next six months

With only a couple weeks left before the election it seems like a good time to trot out some random thoughts and predictions for the future. A fools game indeed, but always fun to do...

The 'we're still here' open thread

Yeah, we're still here. Whatever that means these days. It's been a full row lately with very little oxygen available for doing much except treading water. Won't get to see if the soils fertile for another little bit I guess...

Consider this an open thread to spill some hello's, how do you do's, or what-the-heck is goin's on's in.

And yes, one day I'll write a real diary again. :)

Don't freak out!

As you can see the front page looks kind of funny. All of the "teasers" from the posts are gone, except for this one.

...and that is because I have switched us to the new "break command-less" diaries, which have separate teaser and body input sections. The only side effect is that either all previous content has to have their teasers bombed or else have double teaser (blech!).

Fret not though - if you click the title link - all of the post is there, and in fact you can get your teaser back by editing the post and pasting in whatever you want inside the new teaser input box.

A little step sideways to make a big step in usability. :)
